  Notes	From Clevelamd Gardner's notes: Jerry was the twin brother of Martin Gardner. Where Jerimiah Gardner and family settled, raised a family and were buried is not exactly known. It is said that he lived on First Broad river between Shelby and Lawndale, probably near Lawndale, in the Double Shoals area or possibly the Zion Baptist Church area.
